    Can I return the Products I purchased?
    If you are disatisfied with the Products you purchased, because you reasonably see an evident difference between the product and its description in our Catalog or because there is a minor fault, you are entitled for returning the merchandise (or a part of it) and get a refund or a full product replacement.

    Please read carefully the following:

    - Before shipping back one, some or all the products you purchased please contact us, detailing as precisely as possible the reason of your decision about returning the products. Generic or unreasonable reasons won't be accepted: this is a "Business-to-Business" transaction involving a wholesale sale.

    - You will be able to returning the products AFTER getting our written confirmation. All of our communications will be by E-Mail.

    - The purchase amount will be refunded, not the shipping fees (or any duty/tax fee).

    - The shipping for returning the merchandise must be paid by you.

    - The products must be in perfect conditions, not used, and delivered with their original package. If one of these conditions is not met we won't be able to refund or replace the products.

    - We will decide whether refunding or replacing the products you returned. In case of replacement, the shipping fees will be paid by us. If the replacement products are on stock, the whole process will take about seven (7) days. If they aren't available, we will let you know the estimated delivery time.


    - Our products are usually packaged in sturdy boxes to prevent any reasonable damage during transportation. We are not responsible for any damage due to the shipper negligence or other external factors, though this is an extremely rare occurrence.

    - All our products are carefully inspected before shipping. In the extremely rare case one or more products you received are broken or heavily damaged (not due to transportation issues. This means the original box and package must be intact), please take a few pictures clearly showing the damage and send us them. If the damage is due to our fault we will refund you or replace for free the products, including the shipping fees. We will be fully entitled to decide beween refunding and replacing.

    How can I pay the Sample(s) or the Order?
    In the bottom part of the Cart you can see the the Payment type associated to your Customer Profile (usually Credit Card or Bank Transfer).
    No other payment than those displayed is available.

    The Sample(s) and the related Shipping Fees must be always paid by Credit Card, as last step of the "check out" process.
    The Order Requests can be paid by Credit Card or Bank Transfer, according to your Customer Profile. If you are allowed to pay by Bank Transfer you can see our Bank Account Data at the bottom of the Cart.
    If you are a Wholesale Buyer, the payment of an Order Request usually takes places later. We will process your Order in order to find out the best and cheapest Shipping Fees, then we will send you a message detailing the Total Order Amount (goods and shipment). Typically this happens within 24/48 hours from your Order.
    At that time you will have to pay the Total Amount by Credit Card (simply clicking a link provided to you) or by Bank Transfer.
    Notice about Bank Transfer: the order will be processed for shipment ONLY when the funds will be actually received by our bank.

    Can I pay by Credit Card?
    Yes, this is one of our favorite ways to collect money from our customers. You can use VISA or MASTERCARD (but not the "Electron" types, which needs a physical "Point of Sale" to be operated properly) . AMERICAN EXPRESS and other cards are usually available when paying through the popular PayPal service.
    No surcharge is applied when paying by Credit Card!

    ATTENTION! If you get the "PAYPAL Pay Now" button at the end of the check out process this means you must pay by Credit Card through the PayPal Service.
    If you never used PayPal before, you must sign up (for free, quickly and safely) with PayPal. You can do this during your first payment.

    Do the Prices include local Taxes and Customs Duties?
    No, all Prices are Net. They do NOT include any local Taxes, Customs Duties or Shipping Fees.

    Local Taxes and Customs Duties are so different country by country that no automatic processing is possible. If due, they must cleared by you (usually on behalf of the international courier delivering the goods).

    Is it safe paying by Credit Card?
    Yes, it is! We collect Credit Card payments using popular and trusted services, like PayPal, or the largest Italian Banks. All of them use state-of-the-art SSL technology to encrypt your transaction and made it as safe as possible.
    We do not collect or store your Credit Card data.
    Generally speaking paying by Credit Card on secure Internet sites is much safer than paying at the desk of any physical shop or restaurant.


    Are the Shipping Fees included in my Order?
    If you are a Wholesale Buyer, the Shipping Costs are NOT usually included in the ORDER Request. If they are, you can see their amount clearly printed in the lower part of the Cart and added to the total amount of the products you ordered.

    If not, after the Order confirmation, you will receive an E-Mail message with the precise amount of the Shipping Costs. So you will be able to pay the whole Order Amount (merchandise plus shipping) using one of the payment tools offered by our company (usually Credit Card or Bank Transfer).

    If you are ordering any SAMPLES and choosing our partner Express Courier(s) or the Mail Service) as delivery, the Shipping Costs are usually included and clearly printed in the lower part of the Cart and added to the total amount of the Samples. If you are Consumer the shipping cost is automatically calculated after your registration and added to your order.

    How do you ship my Order?
    When placing a Request for one or more Samples you can usually choose among different shipping options, including delivery by the Mail Service (if available).
    The Order Requests are always shipped by an international delivery service (for example: DHL, UPS, FedEx, or others), trying to get the lowest rates for a fast shipment. If time is not a key factor to you, please send us an E-Mail claiming that you are interested in a cheaper but slower delivery and we will try our best to find it.
    In any cases, you will be notified (usually 24/48 hours after your Order) about the shipping fees in order to pay the total due amount (merchandise plus shipment).

    If you have an account with DHL, UPS, FedEx or any other international delivery services you can input the account code in the Cart of your Sample or Order Request: we will ship your merchandise in a such a way.

    I have an Account with a Delivery Service: can I use it?
    Yes! Just select your favorite Delivery Service and input your Account Code in the lower part of your Cart, for both Samples or Order Reuqests.

    Can I have my Sample(s) or Order shipped to a differen address?
    Due to our anti-fraud policy, this is possible ONLY when the payment is advanced and by Bank Transfer.


    What about your Privacy Policy?
    Our Company is totally committed to maintaining the privacy of all users and customers information. Our Company collect information from you submitted during the voluntary registration process to enter the Catalog, as well as from E-Mail messages sent to the our staff. All information is safely stored and only a few qualified managers of our staff may have direct access to them.

    Additionally, we may automatically track users access to areas within our Electronic Catalog just to collect pure statistical behaviour: our ultimate goal is to enhance your business experience with our Company.

    Users have the opportunity to change registration and demographic information previously provided: simply click the "My Account" option in the upper part of our Electronic Catalog.

    What about the use of the collected information?
    Registering voluntarily to our Electronic Catalog or using some of its services, you will be required to provide certain personal information (example: full name, E-Mail address, company name, WEB site, etc.) and demographic information (e.g. position, business type, business interest, etc.). This information is leveraged only by our Company to deliver you occasional newsletters and E-Mail messages loaded with news and business opportunities. You may prevent our use of your personal and demographic information by "opting out" from all mailing lists maintained by our Company: simply send, at any time, a message to us with "Remove", using the submission form at the "About Us" section of the E-Catalog. More, our Company allows you to ask for an excerpt of your personal data stored in its archives: just send a message to ask for it (please report clearly your name, surname and E-Mail address to speed up the process), using the same form at the "About Us" section. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the information you enter through any E-Catalog services, including, without limitation, requests for information, products and services, items for sale and other information are directly sent to our management system. Our Company may use this information to let you know about possible products or services available through the Electronic Catalog or not that may interest you, or just for marketing or promotional purposes. As a necessary part of completing some transactions, your contact information could be shared with the other party/parties involved in business relationships arising from the marketplace services, in accordance with the ItalianModa.com "Terms and Conditions". In order to complete some transactions over the Electronic Catalog, for example those related to the payment of Samples or small Orders, you may be required to provide your credit card number, cardholder's name, expiration date, billing address and other billing information. An international service company like PayPal or an Italian Bank Service partnering with our Company will collect such information through a secure SSL-based servers and will use such data solely as a warranty of your identity and commitment to activate such possible business transaction. Our Company sometimes makes use of the collected information to assist site administrators in assessing E-Catalog use and traffic patterns, and to insure that users are in compliance with the E-Catalog "Terms and Conditions". You may opt-out of receiving such information at any time: simply send us a message with "Remove" in it (a short explanation of your decision would be very kind and appreciated, just to understand if and where we went wrong). We will not share personally identifiable information about users with the operators of such Links, but may provide them with aggregate information. By registering to our Electronic Catalog or supplying personal data through one or more of its services, all users fully understand and unambiguously consent to the collection and processing of their personal information.

    What about Cookies and Tracking?
    Our Company sometimes uses a feature of your Internet Web browser called a cookie to assign a unique identification code to your computer. Cookies are tiny files that your Web browser places on your computer hard drive. These cookies are used to allow the use of some key-functions of the Electronic Catalog. This information is used just to improve the marketplace and the overall ItalianModa.com service. When you use the Electronic Catalog, we automatically tracks certain information about you. This information includes your domain name and IP address, your browser version, your operating system, the URL you came from (including third party URLs), the pages you visit within the Electronic Catalog, the URL to which you go upon leaving the Site (including third party URLs) and some other minor data (including duration of your visit and screen resolution). Our Company may use this unsensitive information to target marketing and business opportunities announcement to you, to monitor Site performance, utilization of features and services, traffic trends, and browser versions.

    What about Data Security?
    Our Company uses industry standard security enhanced systems and physical restrictions in order to prevent third parties access to your user information. You acknowledge that you are aware of security and privacy limitations, including but not limited to: 1. the limitation of security, privacy and authentication measures and features in this system 2. that data or information on the Electronic Catalog could be subject to eavesdropping, sniffing, spoofing, forgery, spamming, "impostering", tampering, breaking passwords, harassment, fraud, electronic trespassing, hacking, nuking, system contamination (including, without limitation, viruses, worms, and Trojan horses) causing unauthorized, damaging or harmful access and/or retrieval of information and data on your computer, may be subject to other security or privacy hazards or may not reach its destination or may reach an erroneous address or recipient.

    What should I do with my Username and Password?
    Each user has direct responsibility to maintain the privacy of his/her unique Username and Password, as both will provide access to the user information you have submitted and give access to some E-Catalog services (for example: "My Orders") on your behalf. Please keep your Username and Password in a safe place and don't give it away. You should not disclose your Password to any third party. Any such disclosure or other loss of control of your Password could result in adverse consequences to you, including unauthorized transactions that bind you and disclosure of your personally identifiable information.

    Can I cancel an Order?
    Yes, if it has not been confirmed by one of our Sales Representatives yet.
    In such a case just visit the "My Orders" section in the Electronic Catalog and click the red X at the far right of your Order.

    If the red X is not visible this means the Order has been already confirmed and cannot be canceled.
